Basic Iron Alloys
This project serves as a proof of concept for integrating three-dimensional elements into lessons. By building a single environment, it's possible to present bite-sized information to learners. For example, you might need to train people to operate a large machine and diagnose its malfunctions.
A single environment can support both learning strategies within the same file. While the current project is functional, adding extra layers of polish, such as improved lighting, filters, and textures, could create a more engaging experience.
This project was developed using the Godot game engine, with assets created in Blender. The advantage of using a game engine lies in the powerful tools it provides for developing 3D and 2D environments. Additionally, the output files can be wrapped in a custom HTML file to create functional SCORM packages.
However, this approach requires designers to have substantial knowledge in coding, game design, and asset creation to effectively handle both small and large-scale projects.
